We connect locally generated research with the people, practitioners and institutions who can turn it into better health outcomes.
Despite significant advances in healthcare, many communities continue to experience preventable illness and poor health outcomes because of gaps in research, awareness, access and implementation.
We strengthen the ecosystem required to generate knowledge, develop solutions and improve health outcomes, connecting researchers, healthcare professionals, communities, policymakers and innovators.
A future where every individual benefits from evidence-based healthcare, scientific innovation and equitable access to knowledge.
To generate evidence and translate knowledge into meaningful health solutions for African communities.
Too much of the research that guides care in Africa is produced elsewhere, by others, about populations that differ from those it is applied to. African researchers often lack the funding, mentorship and pathways to turn good questions into evidence, and evidence into action. We exist to build that pathway, so the people closest to the problems help lead the solutions.

We bring researchers, clinicians, communities, policymakers and innovators into the same evidence cycle.
We are currently in our planning phase. This is our roadmap for building the foundation.
Register our organization, establish governance and an advisory board, build our online presence, and recruit early collaborators and volunteers.
Launch a webinar/education series, establish a mentorship program, publish our first evidence report, and build university partnerships.
Apply for grants, develop research proposals, formalize institutional partnerships, and launch pilot research activities.
As we grow, this becomes the public record of how research decisions are made and protected.
Researchers, institutions, funders and advocates are welcome to shape what we build next.
