HEER Africa

Privacy policy

How HEER Africa collects, uses and protects personal information.

Who we are

HEER Africa (Humanity, Education and Evidence Research) runs this website. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean HEER Africa. You can contact us at info@heerafrica.org.

What we collect

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, organisation and message. If analytics are switched on (see our Cookie notice), we also receive basic, aggregated visit data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to you, to explore partnerships, to work with researchers on evidence briefs, and to keep this website secure and useful. We do not sell personal information.

Who processes it for us

Our contact form is handled by Formspree, which passes your message to us. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads. Search visibility is monitored with Google Search Console. These providers have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep messages only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our work with you, and then delete them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email us to make a request.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date below shows when it was last changed.
